At the beginning of Spring ’08 I was invited to join a top secret program that Google was doing. It was pretty much a 3D virtual world where you can chat with friends and create rooms with furnishings and everything. Now they have released it to the public under the name Google Lively.
It sounds like a good idea and I hope it lasts – I gave them a few ideas myself a while back, such as youtube accessibility from within the world, so you can watch movies “with your friends” in the virtual world.
