At the beginning of Spring ‘08 I was invited to join a top secret program that Google was doing. It was pretty much a 3D virtual world where you can chat with friends and create rooms with furnishings and everything. Now they have released it to the public under the name Google Lively.
It sounds like a good idea and I hope it lasts – I gave them a few ideas myself a while back, such as youtube accessibility from within the world, so you can watch movies “with your friends” in the virtual world.
I just got an email from Amazon about these Solar items which are on sale – each has an Amazon customer rating of at least 4 stars and looking at the comments they seem to be happy with it. If you are good with electrical work, you can mess around with these to get even more use out of them. A great way to stay green and get free energy from that big yellow ball in the sky (yeah, I mean the Sun).
Great things are planned for our planet, and among those things is Thou Shall Be Green.
